Mission Statement

The Pensacola Voice was established in 1963 to serve as the voice of the African American community.
The scope of our media coverage shall fall within but not limit itself to Political, Social, and Economical events.
We pledge to disseminate Quality, Cost Efficient, and Credible information to our readers.
Consequently, we consistently hold our staff to a high standard of journalistic integrity.
It is not the policy of The Pensacola Voice to attack any newsmaker or institution; subsequently, we will not compromise our objective position as a result of outside influences.
Under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, we reserve the right to report any and all issues we deem newsworthy and in accordance with pre-established law.
We also reserve the right to publish views and opinions by columnist, and other writers which are solely their won. Their views do not necessarily reflect the policies and positions of the staff and management of The Pensacola Voice.
